About us

Welcome to Mama's Boys, a Catholic men's group based in Pottsville, NSW, and the surrounding suburbs. We are a community of men who come together to grow closer to Christ, through prayer, challenge and brotherhood.

The Mama’s Boys began with a group of blokes with a common cause; to see a revival of masculinity in the Church. We strive to provide a place for men to be men, to go beyond their comfort zones, to get real with themselves and others, and through the intercession of Our Lady, seek to deepen in relationship with God.

We meet on Saturday mornings for a swim at sunrise; rain, hail or shine. We then pray the rosary together, taking seriously the request of Our Lady of Fatima. And afterwards we connect and share over coffee.

Our group is made up of men of all ages and backgrounds, from young adults to seasoned veterans, from single guys, husbands, dads with families and our much loved priest. No matter where you're at in your faith journey or in your life, you're welcome to join us and be a part of our community.

At Mama's Boys, we strive to live out our faith in every aspect of our lives, whether it's in our families, our jobs, or our communities. We support each other in our struggles and celebrate each other's successes. We believe that by growing in our faith and supporting each other, we can make a positive impact on the world around us.
